Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
EverythingExchange Markets (“we”, “us”) is an education-oriented prediction-market and launch-lab web app on Base (and related testnets). Contact for privacy questions: Telegram or X / Twitter.
2. What this policy covers
This policy describes personal data we process when you visit the site, connect a crypto wallet, sign in with Pi Network, or use an optional User-to-App (U2A) π payment to unlock private research materials. On-chain activity is public by nature of the blockchain; this policy focuses on data we control off-chain.
3. Data we process
  • Pi Network auth (optional): when you sign in via the Pi SDK, we receive a short-lived access token and verify it with Pi’s API (api.minepi.com). We store your Pi uid and username (if granted) in a signed httpOnly session cookie. We do not store your Pi wallet seed or password.
  • Optional π unlock: payment identifiers (e.g. payment id, transaction id) needed to approve/complete U2A payments with Pi, plus an unlock flag tied to your Pi uid. If you submit a GitHub username, we use it to send a collaborator invite to our private research mirror (under the eexmarkets GitHub account) via GitHub’s API.
  • EVM wallet (optional): if you connect a wallet (e.g. via WalletConnect / browser wallet), your public address and chain id are used in the browser to read balances and send transactions you approve. We do not custody your keys.
  • Technical logs: hosting providers (e.g. Vercel) may process IP address, user-agent, and request metadata for security, rate limiting, and reliability.
  • We do not sell your personal data, run advertising profiles against Pi identities in this app, or ask for government ID through this product.
4. Why we process it
To operate authentication and sessions; complete optional π payments you initiate; deliver paid research access you request; provide wallet-connected market features; keep the service secure (rate limits, abuse prevention); and meet Pi Developer Portal / listing requirements for a Mainnet app.
5. Cookies and local storage
We set an httpOnly cookie (eex_pi_session) after successful Pi verification (typically up to 7 days). Wallet connectors and analytics tooling from third parties may use their own browser storage subject to their policies. You can clear cookies/storage in your browser or Pi Browser settings; signing out clears our Pi session cookie when the logout endpoint succeeds.
6. Third parties
  • Pi Network — authentication and payments (minepi.com). Their terms and privacy practices apply to Pi accounts and π transfers.
  • GitHub — if you request repo access, we call GitHub’s API with a server-side token to invite your username. GitHub’s privacy policy applies to your GitHub account.
  • Hosting / CDN — e.g. Vercel for serving the app and API routes.
  • Wallet infrastructure — e.g. WalletConnect / wallet vendors when you choose to connect.
  • Public blockchains (Base, testnets) — transactions and addresses are public and permanent once confirmed.
7. Retention
Pi session cookies expire as configured (about 7 days unless renewed by use). Unlock / payment records may be kept as long as needed to honor access and prevent duplicate charges or abuse. Server logs are retained according to our host’s defaults and operational need. You may ask us to delete off-chain unlock notes tied to your Pi uid where feasible; we cannot erase public blockchain history.
8. Your choices
Do not sign in with Pi or submit a GitHub username if you prefer not to share that data. Public education pages (markets, launch lab, Honest Lens) remain usable without Pi auth. Optional π unlocks are voluntary. Disconnect your wallet in the UI or your wallet app at any time.
9. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction / by Pi Network’s own rules). Do not use Pi sign-in or payments if you are not allowed to under applicable terms.
10. International transfers
We and our processors may operate in multiple countries. By using the service you understand that data may be processed outside your home country, with safeguards appropriate to the provider (e.g. standard hosting controls).
11. Changes
We may update this page as the product or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy for subsequent visits.
